In today’s episode I chat with Stephen Wells, the mastermind behind Houston’s bedroom pop band: Birthday Club. 

As with most of my episodes, we chat about how the pandemic has affected the band, as Stephan, in particular, had a very optimistic 2020 ahead of him before everything went to shit. However, Stephen has managed to keep himself busy, doing daily livestreams of him playing his own music but also doing all kinds of covers. This is actually how I found him: his stream was the top broadcast under r/RedditSessions when I happened to be on Reddit. Within a week we managed to book this interview. Crazy how the world works these days...
