The merger between T-Mobile and Sprint will survive court scrutiny.
Russia expected to annex its longtime ally Belarus.
The highest grossing film of the year will be Warner Brothers’ “Wonder Woman 1984
The New England Patriots will win Super Bowl LIV in February.
The U.S. stock market will continue to rise through the first half of the year
The Montreal Canadians nor the Chicago Blackhawks will be in the Stanley Cup Finals
The US election will be close to a tie – winner unknown

Predictions – Accurate – Not Accurate

Accurate
1987 – Apple predicted the iPhone
Camera in front + phone capability
Voice command to search the internet (internet didn’t exist)
1900 – John Elfreth Watkins predicted that within 100 years:
Digital colour photography
News from wars would be transmitted within hours of events and seen by all
Americans would be 2 inches taller
Wireless mobile phones would span the world
Not so accurate
1967 – by 2000 – technology would take over
22 hour work week – 27 work weeks per year
So much leisure time we wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves
