The Conclusion of the Matter
Ecclesiastes 11:9 – 12:14
Rejoice now while you can (11:9-10)
1Ti 4:12 NASB Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.
2Ti 2:22 NASB Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart
Remember Your Creator! Ecc. 12:1-8
Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near when you will say, "I have no delight in them"; Ecc 12:1 NASB
When we are young and learning the things of the Scriptures, we learn of your Creator. The foundations of future faith are laid.
You can have a personal relationship with the Creator. Note: YOUR creator
It is difficult for an older person to get saved.
Life will get very busy very fast.
Hebrews 2:1 – For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.
Epilogue 12: 9-12
Our textbook is the Bible, and the Holy Spirit is our Teacher:

John 14:26 NASB "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

John 15:26 NASB "When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me,

John 16:12-15 NASB "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. (13) "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. (14) "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. (15) "All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.
Conclusion of the Matter – vs 13-14
Ecc 12:13-14 NASB The conclusion, when all has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. (14) For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.
Solomon gives us three things here if we want to make our lives count:

(1) Fear God (v. 13). Ecclesiastes ends where the book of Proverbs begins (Prov. 1:7)

(2) Keep His commandments (v. 13). read the instructions!” (Prov. 1:7).
“because this applies to every person.”

(3) Prepare for final judgment (v. 14). “God shall judge the righteous and the wicked” (3:17). “But know that for all these God will bring you into judgment” (11:9 NKJV).
