- Regeneration is the New Birth – comes by the WORD & The SPIRIT
- It’s the truth of JUSTIFICATION
2. The Washing of Restoration – “ except to wash his feet “ – filth, defilement
- need for confession, and cleansing by the WORD – the scriptures
- Psalm 119: 9 / Ephesians 5:26
- This is the truth of SANTIFICATION
3. The Washing of Refreshment – “ You ought to wash one another’s feet”
- This is the truth of FELLOWSHIP – sharing the WORD / serving one another
- showing LOVE to the saints, Christlike humility
