People with acquired brain injury are over-represented in our criminal justice systems. Our Voices introduces 5 members of the Voices for Change self-advocacy group. Voices for Change formed in 2019 and is a group for self-advocates with acquired brain injury and lived experience of the criminal justice system who are passionate about using their experience to influence change.
Through the Our Voices podcast, group members share insights about their experience of the criminal justice system and what they think could be changed to address the over-representation of people with disability in the criminal justice system.
