1. Service to others is senior to all other activity ⁣

2. Deep relationships must be cultivated ⁣

3. Always aim to fundamentally change people⁣

4. Use your voice and knowledge to find the truth⁣

5. Detach from the finish line and surrender to the process ⁣

My decisions are made much faster now with these top of mind. If opportunities come my way for business and in my heart I am not all in or saying “Hell Yes”, I know that I must pass and say no.⁣

When aligning yourself with core values you set yourself up for quick pivots, easier decision making, and ultimately less of the “shiny object syndrome”.⁣

This squirrel-like mentality is something I feel that all of us have. We are the kind of individuals who enjoy new opportunities and want to take advantage of these options when we see fit. Use this as a reminder to constantly be reading over your mission, constantly read over your 10 year, 3 year, or 1 year goals. Constantly use these values as your wood that continues to make the fire burn. The state that we are initially feeling when first wanting to start a business or a career will fad with time. Yet, by nurturing this feeling and putting all of your attention on it with the correct amount of intention, you will be able to stay the course.

What do you embody?
