• Who is LC Blackmon and why is he an entrepreneur?
I And someone who always believed that if I work hard I will be successful, but the only way that that is true in its entirety is running a business or at least being self employed that way I'm paid by the work versus the time period that is why I decided to book up an entrepreneur.

• How long have you been driving trucks?
I have been a truck driver licensed for 3 years come Valentine's Day.

• When did you know that transportation was the industry for you?

I knew transportation was going to be One of the industries for me when I saw that duplication was a possibility. Give me duplication means a handful of things but the most important 2 things that duplication means it means passive income and generational wealth generational wealth.

• What is the hardest thing about transportation?
I wouldn't say there is anything about transportation that is necessarily hard , but the most important thing by far is doing things as safely as possible at every given moment.

• What didn’t you know at first that you found to be a beneficial lesson for you in the future?
I didn't know how simple it was to start a business. It's more of a process as opposed to a complicated start up. One step at a time 1 day at a time and before you know it you're flourishing if I would have known that years ago I simply just would have started a process until It become a business.
• Why start your own business?
Freedom and income comes together within the business structure. Self employed people may make a lot of money but they may have a lot of time after they get off of work, but they never really make enough money. Those structures simply are not meant for that period the business structure is the only place that you can step away from the duties while hiring someone else to do the duties and still earn income.

• What advice can you give anyone that is looking to start driving transportation?
3 pieces of advice
1) one don't wait go and start
2 try it out for at least 6 to 12 months
3 don't be afraid to stop this chapter and start a new chapter even if it's in a new industry simply because you're afraid of starting over.

• What is the laziest thing you have done on the road?
The laziest thing I've ever done on the road is probably overslept I drive for a living so sleep is very important however being on time is also important. I am in an industry right now, hauling Hey, that allows me to actually unload myself at some locations and farms and berries with my warehouse and forklift background, but other than that I'm pretty disciplined in straightforward when it comes to being on the road simply because it's easy to get hurt.
• What is your expectation moving forward in 2023 for Blackmon Transportation?

I would say there are 3 goals this year for blackmon transportation.
1 Get out of debt
2 hire a driver and double my fleet to 2 trucks
3 Expand to different commodities to diversify I ensure no slow seasons for drivers

• if you can inspire one person with a message in 15 seconds, what would it be and GO‼️‼️‼️
