An independent singer and songwriter hailing from Newark New Jersey; Kyun originally started off as a cover artist via (youtube and instagram), both a lead and back up vocalist to a christian band shared with his mother and aunt (Roslyn and Angela), and member of the now duo label and team DV8. He later ventured off to find his own style of sound while blending in what he had already heard and learned through his prior group members. While adopting, or more so adapting, to different genres to combine his smokey and neo retro style of r&b soul, Kyun's an artist that tries to touch on various aspects in music without having limits to himself or the things he speaks about. His choice to remain a mystery comes after focusing on life experiences and isolation from his past but his music conveys the messages that he and others around him went and go through in hopes giving listeners a chance to hear the music rather than applying a face to it. His mixture of styles in genre include pop, blues, rock, and hip hop while maintaining his deeply rooted r&b signature style. As a songwriter he's composed both lyrics and hooks for various and often featured artists such as L!ve, Zoned, Tae Lyr and more. His latest upcoming project soon to be released, "On The House" is defined as a party album featuring some old and new faces to music and looks to have the energy of keeping the party as chill as possible if things get out of hand and even is for those that don't mind a private party every now and then.
