“My name is ladyy Sagee and I have been writing music since I was in middle school. I took interest in rap ever since I heard my sister freestyle when I was in the 6th grade. I used to rap in the cafeteria during lunch time or sometimes in the classrooms, I was never shy back then. I used to just do it because it was fun 🔥 I started to be known as the “rapper girl”. Even though there were very very few of us female rappers at that time, I came up with my artist name ladyy Sagee for people to properly address me… (sage) is another word for wise. I was always told that I am wise for my age and this is how I want to be remembered and respected. As time has passed I’ve developed more of my sound as an artist and even when life happens, I plan to stay consistent with my music because this time around, it feels different. It’s like I’ve lit this match and now I feel this fire in me 🔥💯and anxiously I don’t want to put it out.
