Hello and welcome to the sixth episode of our podcast P for Parenting.

Anjali started the podcast with a Punjabi saying which means that parenting is a full-time job.

In this episode, Anubha and Anjali are joined by Shahina. Shahina is an entrepreneur, an artist, and a mother of 3  children.

Shahina told that in the past few years she has faced many challenges. Her husband owned an accessory factory where she used to help her husband. Then she had a business school where she was partnered with the Singapore Human Resource Institute. She told me that what she is doing today is her biggest success to date which is consultant art.

She talked about the challenges she faced while being an entrepreneur and a mother at the same time. “Sometimes it’s a challenge to attend your child’s sport’s day as well as your office meeting”, Shahina said.

Shahina also gave advice to the moms on how to start a business. She said that the first and foremost thing is to have a business plan. One should know about their business, a good team, and yes a passion to chase the dream.
