Introducing a new podcast brought to you by the PTB Media Network. "The Mister" Mike Agostinho @mikeagostinho will take you on a nostalgic trip back to when the game of soccer wasn't even on the radar of most Americans. Today there are up to 100 live matches on TV and Streaming in America every weekend but this podcast will take you back to when that wasn't the case, because we can't know where we are headed if we don't know where we've been. The podcast will start it's timeline at the collapse of the #NASL and take you through the 1994 World Cup and the berth of Major League Soccer. Buckle up and come along for the ride!!!

In this episode we start at square one in the year 1967 and a few brilliant but ahead of their time visionary sports entrepreneurs including Lamar Hunt, Jack Kent Cooke, and Steve Starvo among others have a vision to bring professional soccer to North America. Two Leagues are formed and rushed into existence and there's certainly bumps along the way the seed that will eventually lead to the US hosting World Cup 1994 is planted.
