Beach House Edition 2008 v1 - a podcast by Keith a.k.a. K j A M

Hot on the heels of the Electro-Funk mixes, I bring you the true essence of summer (at least for me).  Easy, breezy carefree and feel good, would best describe this mix.  A culmination of funky and soulful house is just what the season is all about.  Oh, and did I mention funky?  Heck yeah!  I also added a few disco diddies which will be more evident in the future mixes of this edition.  So whether you're heading out to Ibiza, the beach or your favorite summertime destination, I've got something to keep you cool.

I've had several inquiries as to where I get my cover art from.  Several are originals created by me in Photoshop, others I get off the net and the Vector/Illustration drawings I pick up at iStockphoto.com.  This series will have four separate covers just because I enjoy having fun with it.  The Beach House series all come from Chihhang an Australian graphic designer.  I'm hoping at some point to purchase Illustration so I can teach myself how to create these really cool images.  Unfortunately, at the moment the software is cost prohibitive, so I'll have to wait this one out.  You can check out more of his work and compare the original pic to what I did to it (here).  This cover contains a total of ten layers including the original.  So the changes I made are pretty substantial.  I'll be back tomorrow with part 2 of this series, until then...Enjoy!
