First, I'd like to send out my best wishes to those living in the UK, I hope you thawed out already.  Not to make light of your situation, even though 4 inches of snow is generally considered fun time in places that are used to it, but in areas that generally don't get snow, it can be a disaster.  After high school, I moved to Austin, TX and got a job as a copy clerk for the Austin American Statesman.  On one winter day, I saw snow for the very first time in my life and the newspaper let everyone go home early.  I couldn't figure out why, so I called a friend to hook up and party.  Thankfully, I had filled up the tank prior to leaving because what should have taken me 10 minutes to get to my destination ended taking over 5 hours!  People drive like idiots in snow and ice causing accidents and then they start using the opposite lanes causing more accidents.  By the time everything is backed up, people start running out of gas causing more congestion.  What a fracking nightmare that was.  Eventually, I got to where I was going and my friend had a case of beer and a couple of funny cigarettes waiting for me.  I can assure you, that more than made up for it.LOL.  While Atlanta doesn't get much snow, in general, they are prepared for it and are able to cover the highways with salt to prevent slipping and sliding.  However, if it was a multi-day snowstorm with several inches, I think this city would come to a halt as well, since they don't have snow plows and probably have never heard of one.LOL.  So, my best wishes to our fellow members across the pond, hopefully, you got some time off work.

As I had mentioned in a previous post, changing the name of the mixes allows me to drop in things that might otherwise not have made it.  You'll notice that this mix takes a decidedly darker turn towards the end.  Take 4 picks up where we leave off before going back into the electro-funk styling's these mixes are known for.  Frankly, I'm quite pleased and finally feel like I'm getting my mojo back.  Now, that doesn't always work because there are two songs I absolutely love, but couldn't get to work anywhere in the mix.  So, I'll set those aside in hopes of being able to drop them in at a later date.  Variety is the spice of life and the only way to enjoy it is by experimenting.  If it works, great.  If not, pack up and move on to the next thing.  Eventually, you'll get it to work and the pay off is generally very satisfying.

Getting down to the bottom of the barrel, it appears there will be a total of 5 mixes, instead of 4.  I've already got number 4 ready to go and should get that posted tomorrow or the day after.  Regardless, everything will be wrapped up by the weekend.  After that, I'll begin work on the much delayed Winter Edition.  I hope everyone's having a great week so far and I'll be back shortly with the next installment.  Until then, enjoy!
