What? Another update so soon? You bet! I told you at the beginning of the year I had a sh!t load of music to go through. Instead of combining many of the songs from the Funky Edition with the Tech House songs (much like in Party Favorz 2007: Funky Edition v6), I made the decision to separate them out. There was just way too much good music pouring out to leave them off the mixes.



So, no posturing or political updates to discuss today...it's all about the music. Once you get into to this mix, you'll see that it's one great song after another. I really hope everyone enjoys this mix as much as I did making it. For those that may have noticed the HOT guy (courtesy of Modern Fabulosity), in my Flickr slideshow for the newly created "Winter Edition", it's because that mix is on its way next! I don't want all you circuit boys to think I've forgotten about you. I'll try to have it out for the weekend, but no promises. I can assure you, it'll be worth the wait.



A few things of note:



Please vote on the right for your preference for downloading the mixes. In other words, do you prefer a single high quality mp3 file to ensure continuous flow; or do you prefer the mix be split into individual songs (this requires a CD burner and player that has "gapless playback for MP3); or do you prefer the files be split into individual songs but encoded at a lossless bitrate (this will make the file much larger with slightly longer download speeds, but offers the best quality). Make your vote count. If you want lossless compression, then let me know in my "comment box" what type of compression you prefer (i.e. flac, wma, mp4, monkey's audio, etc.)



I'll be updating the "iPod Worthy List" later tomorrow; sorry it's been a little hectic, but I think it's time for all this wonderful new music coming out. I may run some voting, later on, to let you pick your favs, so we can let the world know what we're digging at the moment.



One other thing, Modern Fabulosity has 5 copies of the new Idina Menzel CD "I Stand" to give away. So go over there by January 20th and answer a simple question so you can get into the drawing for the new disc. Here we go!
