I had the day off and was certain I would get this posted in the morning just in time for the 4th of July holiday. Unfortunately, the deadly combination of a long night and pouring rain created an environment of laziness and eternal rest. I ended up waking around 3ish which is unheard of for me and realized I had pretty much let the entire day slip by. So now, I am here to rectify the situation.



This set was actually finished a month ago before the last three Pride sets I recently posted but I had been saving it as the substitute for my annual Beach House series. Frankly, nothing’s changed other than the title. I dropped “Beach House” and just decided to go with a new name for each house set like I’ve been doing with most of my mixes.  After all, I have more options when working on the cover art and frankly it’s more fun than just doing “beach themed artwork.”



I realize half the country is having repressive record-breaking heat with uncontrollable wildfires in certain areas and the other half is experiencing record-breaking downpours with copious amounts of flooding, so the 4th of July may very well be a bust for most folks, including us wee-people here in the ATL. So is house music with a lot soul and on the funky tip is not what you’re in the mood for, just sock this one away for the next time you’re at the beach or sitting around the pool worshipping the solar deity in the sky.



I’ll be stepping back a bit this next week and haven’t decided what’s coming up next. In all likelihood, an EDM set and the always popular Summer Edition will be on the plate. So, until the next time …ENJOY!
