With Peter’s recent passing, I could think of no better way to honor him than to showcase his legacy.  You may ask yourself “why The Diva Series?” Frankly, With his much-publicized feud with Offer Nissim (he was right) to his falling out with the organizers of the White Party (he was wrong), the one thing I know with all certainty is that HE WAS THE ULTIMATE DIVA!



Nevertheless, I’m not here to pass judgment because like most people that reach the upper echelons of their profession, they will always have their detractors.  Talk to the hand honey, cause the head ain’t listening.







The catalog of artists he’s either produced or remixed is mind-boggling. Madonna, Whitney, Christina, Britney, Mariah, Cher, Donna Summer, Loleatta Holloway, Suzanne Palmer and on and on; the list reads like a who’s who of divas to hit the gay dance floors around the globe.



The man is a legend and leaves behind a body of work that will continue to be emulated 30 years from now. Peter said it best himself in song #10 of this set: “This is the REAL THING BITCH!” Instead of sadness and sorrow, Party Favorz celebrates the legacy of Peter Rauhofer and welcomes him to the Diva Hall of Fame. RIP my friend, it’s been a long journey.
