We've reached the fourth set for this edition.  I’m guessing it will be quite a while before I do another System Edition since I have other things on tap for May.  This final set takes a decidedly different approach to yesterday’s lush and atmospheric mix.  In fact, I’d say that this is more alternative and experimental underground house than anything else.  Granted, the hooks are there, but sometimes you need to look for them.  Don’t expect a lot of vocals in this set either.  To me, this is as cold and electronic as it can get.  Granted, I have to be in the mood for these types of songs, and last night I guess I was because I was just rocking out to the beats.  I’ve got a lot going on today so I’m not going to spend any time discussing the songs on the mix.  Suffice to say that it may not be for everyone.  However, if you enjoy quirky beats without the dreamy landscape, this one is definitely for you!

In my previous post I mentioned that I was not happy with the way the second set came out and that after further listening, the problem was with many of the songs.  I just wasn’t feeling much of it.  So, I took the first set and dropped a few songs and the second set and dropped many more, then combined the mixes.  That’s how it will stay in my library.  I’ll be happy to post it tomorrow if I receive enough requests, otherwise, I’ll just leave everything as is and start working on the next Chrome Edition 2002.

After more rain and thunderstorms last night, it looks like today is going to be a gorgeous day.  In fact, we’re now starting to see temperatures climb into the mid-80s and today is going to be a scorcher.  Frankly, I welcome the warm-up but will be bitching about the heat and longing for fall by August…LOL.  I know, finicky bitch.  I also have a couple of reminders: 1) If you haven’t signed up for my Facebook Fan Page yet, please go over there and do that now.  It’s not finished yet, but should be by the weekend.  I plan on running contests from there and not this site, that will be strictly for the fans.  So if you don’t want to miss out…2)  I’m calling all fans of Kristine W to submit your questions.  I’ll be interviewing her next month and would like to get every fan the opportunity to ask a question.  You can either leave your question in the comments section of this post or email me at kjamproductions@gmail.com.  Make sure you leave your first name, city, and state, so I know who to attribute the question to during the interview process.  I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.  I will be back sometime next week with the next installment of the Chrome Edition.  Until then…enjoy!
