The 1980's produced some of the most iconic artists and groups of any generation. From Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Prince to R.E.M. The Police, and Bruce Springsteen there was something in these artist's styles, brand, and message that triggered our emotions and fealty. U2 is one such group that has maintained the loyalty of millions of people worldwide through their sincerity, musicianship, and political activism. Let's face it; anyone that has seen them in concert or listened to their live recordings is easily swept up by the anthemic reinterpretations of their studio recordings. It's hard not to feel an affiliation with the group and their message after deep listening.

During the 90's, Bono and band members the Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen began to experiment with the burgeoning techno and trance scene in their music. Sometimes with great fanfare, while other times falling flat.

Regardless, these reinterpretations standout on their own with Paul Oakenfold (and to a lesser extent William Orbit) introducing elements into their music that allowed U2 to reach a wider audience on the dancefloor.

To this day, U2 has continued their anthemic glory and fully embraced their music and message to be translated for the world's dancefloors with continued success. This legacy edition (or tribute) to their achievements in dance music is strictly focused on that area of this group's genius.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you my tribute to one of rock's greatest and most influential bands as reinterpreted by other electronic artists, U2.

I want to thank everybody that has privately written to me about my current mental health. I assure I am fine (sort of). For me, life is a struggle as I am certain it is for many of you. I am trying to refocus my efforts towards positive outcomes and plan on sticking it out at least through the end of the year. With me, you never know. Thanks again! -K
