What is Christian Ethics? To me, Christian Ethics is the commands and teachings of the Lord Jesus as to how we are to treat our brothers and sisters in Christ, and of how we are to behave in this world. In Matthew Chapter 18 The Lord Jesus teaches us how to do this, and what His demands are upon us as we deal with fellow believers. We are not perfect. Actually, we are infants when it comes to understanding our place in the Kingdom of God's Son, Jesus. the Lord Himself is our most able Teacher. And He that directs us in the Word of God, shows us how we are treat our fellow believers with love, mercy and compassion, and at the same time, reminding ourselves that the mercy God that He has shown to us, is the same measure of mercy we show toward others, even though they have sinned against us.
