In John Chapter 8 there are two principles the Lord Jesus teaches us. (1). We are not to judge others after the flesh, but if we do, we must make sure our judgment is according to truth 'with' mercy, not condemnation. (2). It is vital to know 'the' truth; that truth is in Jesus to whom we have received as Savior, and to Whom we abide and remain. We are responsible for the truth and we are not to fear man when he confronts us concerning our faith in Christ. We are to speak truth and not back down.
