There were '7' instances where Jesus healed on the Sabbath Day. John chapter 9 records the 5th instance of Jesus' sabbath healings; the man healed who was born blind. '7' is the number of 'perfection' or 'completion', and the number '5' is the number of 'grace'. God is willing to open blinded eyes. Not only was the man who was born blind received his sight; the Lord Jesus also opened the 'eyes of his heart' in order for this man to receive the greater gift, Eternal Life. This was, and is, made possible through God's grace and mercy.
