In this session we will be in Luke chapter 17, and the subject will be forgiveness. Christ commands us to forgive others, but he also expects us to forgive ourselves! Many of us have done dark things in the past and, even though we have repented of these sins, the shame of sin still haunts us because we have not forgiven ourselves. If we have repented of sin, accepted Christ as our Savior, and have received New Birth, whatever we have done in the past has been washed away by the blood of Jesus when Christ's blood was applied to our heart. Now we are to walk in Christ's forgiveness, toward others, as well as, toward ourselves. We are to 'let others and ourselves off the hook', and be free to enjoy the fruits of forgiveness in our life.
