Progressing  through Advent, the traditional period of spiritual preparation for  Christmas, we continue in our examination of how God shines His light  into the darkness of our world. His light rules with power, multiplies  through prayer, & invites our faithful investment in the eternal  Kingdom. Just like the Magi of old, the wise men from the East who came  to worship & honor the infant Jesus in Bethlehem with a gift of gold  for God, we're called today to give our all for the God of all, who has  given all for and to us (cf. Luke 6:38; Rom 8:32; 1 Cor 6:20).
