Niiamah Ashong is originally from Ghana, Africa, and at 7 years old it became very clear to him that you did not “fit in”, being in his neighbourhood just outside of Camden, NJ in the USA. He spent many years holding back, hiding who he truly was in order not to be outed as different, until he realised that he is an outlier - and that has proven to be his biggest strength. He is a coach, passionate about bringing opposites together, and helping others embrace their unique talents, so they can create freedom of time & expression, financial abundance, and massive impact.

Key takeaways:

 • "Fitting in" vs. "Fitting out"

 • The fear of standing out and being outed as different

 • Being on the 2-3% and the price to pay for being you

 • Racial stigma and humanity: what divides us?

 • Celebrating and valuing people's differences, and the "Martian test"

Memorable quote:

"I wouldn't go back and change anything. I see where I am now, and there is a level of appreciation that I needed to have to be able to go through it."
