Overview of Copper Country Senior Meals with Kathleen Harter | CCSM Older Americans Month Part 1 - a podcast by Portage Health Foundation

As part of Older Americans Month, CCSM is partnering with the Portage Health Foundation for a special series of podcast episodes highlighting what makes Senior Meals such a special organization in Michigan's Copper Country. In episode 1 we visit with Copper Country Senior Meals Executive Director Kathleen Harter. She's just about one year into her career with the non-profit organization, and in this episode she goes through everything that makes Senior Meals special including its core services of meal delivery (nearly 300 per day!) and congregate meal sites, talks about a grant they recently received from PetSmart Charities, and introduces a GoFundMe fundraiser the organization launched in celebration of Older Americans Month.
