The Pipeman interviews Toschie from Audrey Horne from Norway. Music is great therapy and great way to release tension. He creates hard rock, metal and punk style music. Right now, the younger generation growing up now are much saner than the older generation. Its time to have the grown ups step aside. Toschie had played a lot of festivals during his career. After a show Toschie went out after a show wearing a pink tee shirt with the band WAM and a bunch of festival goers came up to him appreciating the tee shirt. There’s just a lot of love in the metal scene. Toschie has always been in love with all kinds of music from jazz to hip-hop to rock and metal. Toschie has played Hell Fest 3 times. They were on tour in Germany when the pandemic hit. since they couldn’t travel, they decided to make an album. They normally would go to a rehearsal room and jam to create then go to a studio and record it. To make the pandemic album made stuff alone at home and send it around via email to get everyone’s parts. For this album they were never all in one room together. It was different but was good and different way to create for them. It has a lot of nerve and energy into the album. It was good to step out of their comfort zone to create. It’s a bit darker lyrically and musically then normally. When you work with producers its good because that’s a guy who could suggest things outside or the norm.
