As the winds became stronger, the disciples became more fearful they thought this was it for them. Jesus easily calmed the winds and the waves by the sound of his strong voice.

We may be going through storms of suffering, storms of sorrow or even God sent storms to discipline and bring us back to Him. No matter how big or little the storms are, remember who is in control. The Lord has control over everything in our lives, we cannot make it out all on our own. There is always something to learn from these storms: they bring strength and an increase in faith. Make Jesus your intercessor, and remember He has all control.
