Eleanor Ellis loved to sing as a child and played a lot in New Orleans during college, especially bluegrass. She moved to Maryland and started playing "spiritual and truth" music with Flora Molton, and also played country blues with Archie Edwards. She is one of the founders of the Archie Edwards Blues Heritage Foundation. She says it is really positive and good for people to connect, and music does that. Music is a way of making bonds and "music creates a sense of community."
