Bonus Episode: Featuring Step Mom and Military Spouse, Jane Doe - a podcast by Bianca Wulwick

This episode is being released in honor and dedication to the 9 lives lost during a training accident off the coast of California on July 30, 2020. 7 marines, and 1 sailor were lost during a training event. It has been nearly 48 hours since I have spoken to my husband, and while I know he is safe, the sadness I feel for those families that lost their loved ones is immeasurable. When something in the military happens, you don't feel overjoyed that your loved one is safe, you feel the loss just as much as they do. This is the reality of having a loved one in the military, and one that we work so hard to forget. The not so glamorous side to the danger and peril they endure. The duty and sacrifices that my sailor makes for our country are commendable and honorable. I am so proud of my husband every single day.

This is my first anonymous episode due to the nature of the content at hand. My guest has requested to remain anonymous, and I am respecting her wishes. Jane Doe feels a considerable amount of imposter syndrome in being a stepmom to her son, and a wife to someone in the military. Imposter syndrome impacts all of us in a different way, and I hope that you find this story helpful if you are struggling with this.
