On Monday, the NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority resumed its public hearings into Crown Resorts after suspending the probity inquiry in April because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The inquiry will determine whether Crown should keep its license and was triggered by revelations by The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, and 60 Minutes last July that Crowns "junket" tour operators brought Chinese high-rollers to its Australian casinos had links to organised crime and money-laundering operations.
In this episode, climate and environment editor Nick O'Malley is joined by business reporter Patrick Hatch to discuss the Crown Resorts inquiry and what it could mean for the soon to be completed $2.4 billion casino at Barangaroo.
