The pandemic has been tough on us all, but it’s taken a particular toll on young people.

Exclusive polling for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald has shown the depth of that toll, finding that one in four young Australians thought about suicide over the past two years and 15 per cent attempted self harm. The polling was commissioned to coincide with a powerful new podcast about youth mental health, called Enough.

Today on Please Explain, co-host of Enough, Jewel Topsfield joins Bianca Hall to discuss the toll the pandemic has had on young people.Subscribe to The Age&SMH: https://subscribe.smh.com.au/
