Meet Nneka:

Nneka Garel-Portes is a native New Yorker, and the owner of Color Lab NYC/ SKinfatuated NYC. Having grown up in the Lefferts Gardens area of Brooklyn, Flatbush for all the Brooklynites, she became very aware of beauty services in her local neighborhood at a young age, and the positive role it played in the lives of the adults in her life.

Leaning on the knowledge she acquired in her MBA studies, she acquired certifications in esthetics and microblading then launched her first beauty studio in Manhattan in 2017. In 2019, she purchased Brow Zing NYC in Brooklyn, and rebranded it to Color Lab NYC, where it includes several specialties in permanent makeup, scalp micropigmentation and tattoo removal.
