Welcome to Episode 355. The wait is over but the wait for a good episode will be a little longer. So enjoy whatever this was. Anyway, this week we’re joined by Steve Miller from the Space Cowboy Podcast as well as Joe Stark from Starkcast and Number One Comic Books. In Good Pop Bad Pop this week for movies Brian had a chance to see Jiu Jitsu in the theater starring Nicolas Cage and Tony Jaa. This one comes out on VOD next week and I’ll let you know if it’s worth checking out. He also talks about seeing the new Blumhouse slasher comedy Freaky that’s a murderous twist on Freaky Friday. Brian also talks about Synchronic where two New Orleans paramedics’ lives are ripped apart after they encounter a series of horrific deaths linked to a designer drug with bizarre, otherworldly effects. This one stars Jamie Dornan and Anthony Mackie. Brian also caught a theatrical showing of the new animated film Wolfwalkers set to hit Apple TV Plus on December 11th. And he gives you his quick thoughts on Let Him Go starring Diane Lane and Kevin Costner. We have a discussion about Jungleland starring Charlie Hunnam and you have a chance to win 1 of 4 digital copies of the movie. We talk about a couple of new comedies as well with Aunty Donna’s Big Ol’ House of Fun on Netflix and How To With John Wilson on HBO.

Joe also talks about a couple of new comic books he’s been reading. The Last Ronin a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles story as well as Crossover from Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw.

In News it looks like we might get a Bloodshot sequel even after an underperforming box office. Alan Ruck talks about the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off sequel he’d like to see. And Halo on Showtime has resumed filming.

In Marvel News both Chris Pratt and Vin Diesel have shown up to the set of Thor: Love and Thunder. The Black Widow movie will finally give us the answers to what happened in Budapest. And we’re still getting rumors of a Loki Season 2.

In DC News Jared Leto will get a different look in Zack Snyder’s Justice League AND it looks like we might be seeing Sylvester Stallone in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.

And we talk about The Mandalorian and The Boys a little here and there.
