The Gospel takes the four stories of the life of Jesus Christ and presents them as one chronological timeline narrative. It’s based on the collective events found in the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The relevant portions of the gospels are then inserted into each event. This book is an original adaptation of source material found in the English Standard Version, New King James Version, New International Version, the Open English Bible, and the World English Bible. Although it’s an accurate and reliable work, it’s only used here to assist the reader in their understanding of the four gospels as one timeline. Great care has been taken not to exclude anything, but when overlapping events took place, the duplicate narrative was removed. Although this work is accurate, it’s not meant to be a substitute for any of the bible canon nor is it suitable for doctrine. Luke’s Prologue and the two genealogies are placed at the end of the timeline. The Broadus Harmony, which is one of the most widely accepted harmonies, is used to establish the timeline. Our hope is that this book will help people see the four gospels as one story told from four different perspectives.
