Aboard the Rampion, Cinder, Scarlet, Wolf, Thorne, and Iko have just escaped Earth and are now orbiting in space.  After tending to their wounds, Scarlet confronts Cinder and her secret identity is finally revealed.  Wolf offers to help Cinder and Scarlet reminds her of her responsibilities, but all Cinder wants is one moment to think.

On the moon, Luna watches over her minions as they prepare for another attack on Earth. She learns the damages her LSOP's have waged on the Earthen unions, and contemplates her new role as fiance and Eastern Commonwealth Empress.
