He also discusses taking a stand at midfield with his fellow African-American MLL players during the 2020 MLL season in order to draw attention to racial injustices in America, winning the 2020 Dave Hutley Man of the Year award, why he feels that he shares the honor with Kris Alleyne, Mark Ellis and Chad Toliver and how the lacrosse community can be more inclusive.
