Episode 30: Lighten Up: Lifting the Burden of Ingrained Gender Stereotypes - a podcast by Elli Rader

We teamed up with the MPLS MadWomen to spark a conversation and dig into the ingrained, gender-specific perceptions about “strength” and “weakness” and how they show up in the workplace. We have hauled these biases around with us long enough, and we thought it was time to take a look at them in a new way and maybe start to lighten up from the burden they bring.
Guests include Alison Beattie of Target & MPLS MadWomen, Erinn Farrell of space150, and Chad Gillard of GoKart Labs & Midwest Pantry. This conversation was facilitated by Professional Humans Elli Rader and Josh Berg, and recorded live at the River Room at the Aster Cafe on April 25, 2016.
