The Beautiful South were one of the iconic names in British music in the 1990’s.First charting in 1989, the band went on to have a string of hit singles in the following decade.The albums like CARRY ON UP THE CHARTS&BLUE IS THE COLOUR were to be found in many people’s CD collections.Now members of the original band remain together under the name “The South”, and Andy Lawson's been speaking to Gaz from the band looking ahead to their gigs in Yorkshire this month.
