ISIS Threatening Israel - a podcast by Stephan (Bro Stef)

With a media blitz, the Islamic State has set its sights on Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula as the next shot at expanding its empire and establishing a base from which to attack neighboring Israel. Headline here -

Do we know for sure that ISIS will attempt to invade Israel? Know one knows for sure except The Lord. The reason I say this is because it is theoretically possible that Turkey, Russia and Iran could destroy ISIS and thereby stop their advance towards the Jewish State.

If however, ISIS is not stopped then I think there is a high degree of probability that they will try to invade Israel by using a tactic used for millennia called, "raiding." Raiding is a tactic that works at wearing your opponent down. The Vikings were the ones who developed this tactic successfully and now it is used by modern armies world-wide. With this in mind, it is believed, by those study warfare for a living, that ISIS will raid Israel rather than use a frontal attack. It makes sense when you think about it, after all, the PA has been doing this with terror attacks in Israel for over 20 years.

So what is the "prophetical implications" of this news?

First, should ISIS be stupid enough to do this, they will bring the anger of the Prime Minister of Israel down on them and he will not allow this to happen without a violent reaction from Israel. We should not forget that The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Yeshua (Jesus) has put His fear into ISIS. The one country the leader of ISIS is afraid of, more than Russia, Turkey, Iran or the USA is Israel. Why you ask? Israel understands the mind-set in the Middle East and knows full well that the only way to stop violence against the Jews is through extreme military measures. ISIS knows Israel will not walk a politically correct (PC) line with them. Israel will seek to destroy ISIS and they will not care what country ISIS is in at the time of any attack. I know this because I have been studying and watching the Middle East since 1987. I understand how the Jews think, after all, I am one and I know how the Middle East thinks.

In the book of Zechariah 13 and 14 we see a very disturbing picture of two-thirds of the Jews who die in God's judgement against them for their rejection of The Messiah. Then we turn the page and we see a horrible picture of Jerusalem being invaded and ransacked, along with the women being raped right before The Messiah (Jesus) returns to save them.

Could ISIS be one of the invading armies that carry out God's judgement? Only time will tell and if this be the case, I would expect ISIS to not attempt an attack on Israel any time real soon. We could be watching the stage being set in the Sinai for ISIS as is the stage being setup for the coming Ezekiel 38 war.

What this means is we need to be very guarded in making sure we walk with The Lord in obedience and live out our faith before Him. We have much to pray about and share with family and friends.
