I do not want people to be so frustrated should The Lord not call us home this fall, that they fall away from frustration, anger and great disappointment!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Matthew 24:42; "watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming." When one reads Daniel 8-12, Matthew 24, and the book of Revelation a picture begins to unfold and emerge or at least it does if you allow the Bible to speak for itself and come to scripture without a lot of presuppositions. The picture that emerges is that believers are not exempt from trial, testing and the fire as we have been taught for years. True believers are never, in scripture, promised a life without trouble and the trial of our faith. Satan will always attack true believers. We are exempt however from The Wrath of God for sure. There is a big difference from tribulation and Wrath. Tribulation is Satan's time against us that God allows, see Revelation chapters 5-7. The book of James is clear on this. Today many Christians live under an illusion that for the Antichrist to come to power the church must be gone. Scripture does not bear this out. The scripture that is used to suggest that the church is removed is 2 Thessalonians 2. The pretrib folks say that the Holy Spirit is removed and thus the church is removed via rapture and then the Antichrist comes to power. This is NOT what the text says. The text says that we will see much trouble and that we will see a great falling away and then Antichrist comes to power. It is after this we are raptured. Many believe that we are raptured between the first seal through the 7th seal in Revelation. This will get one thinking and praying.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Let's talk about the Holy Spirit's leaving in 2 Thess 2:7. The church was here before the Holy Spirit was given to us. Jesus breathed on the Disciples (John 20:22) and the Holy Spirit entered them. We know that in Acts 1 and 2 the Disciples waited in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit, The Lord went to heaven and ten days later Pentecost came or after a total of 50 days. The Church is here on earth through the Disciples and The Lord goes to heaven, ten days later The Holy Spirit is given. This shows us that when The Holy Spirit Leaves there will be a gap between that leaving and The Lord's return to take us home in 2 Thess. 2. During this 50 day gap Satan will attempt to destroy the Church and will persecute us, just like Revelation points out in Rev 7:9-17. The Lord is with us, The Holy Spirit is in heaven, when The Holy Spirit is with us The Lord is in heaven, just like in Acts. This process fulfills what Yeshua said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." Heb 13:5. The Lord always leaves His people with His presence, either through Him specifically or through the agency of The Holy Spirit!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
If you have not asked Jesus Christ to be your personal Lord and Savior, please do this today because you are running out of time. Now is the day of salvation! Please do not put it off. You can get a lot of things wrong in life and survive, but the decision to humble yourself and ask Christ into your heart you can't get wrong. Surrender today!
Read John 3:16-18; Romans 6:23 and 10.
