On Sunday July 30th, 2017 on a rooftop in beautiful Downtown LA in Southern California, there occurred a musical and cultural soul-show of epic proportions. Three distinguished event promoters/DJs/artists/singers/dancers & musicians (yes, musicians!) all combined their respective gifts into a musical tapestry taken right out of the very cultural fabric that defines the West Coast Underground Music Scene in Los Angeles. The 3 entities: LA JUNTA, JUJU, and EARTH ARROW, put forth a peaceful soundclash of musical styles and sonic platitudes that simply tore the roof off an already decapitated enclave directly within the cross-hairs of the legendary Staples Center which provided the geographic backdrop and legacy stamp that anchored the significance of this one-time affair into underground funklore for years to come. To attempt to imagine the warmth and receptive nature of an event built upon creating and inimitably welcoming vibe that enables all guests to feel right at home, well, you just had to be there to witness it all for yourself-but just in case you missed it, here's a set by DJ ROME ranging from the sounds of Maracas, Sean Paul, and J.
