After 37 years hosting Coach's Corner, Sportsnet fired Don Cherry after some incredibly controversial comments on what became his last Coach's Corner segment.

Ryan, Geeta and P Mac gather once again at the palatial estate to discuss a very eventful weekend. They discuss Cherry's offensive comments, the reaction from fans and viewers and Cherry's lack of apology in the wake of the controversy.

They also talk about the Canucks' struggles. No longer the Cardiac Kids, the young Canucks team's goal production has dried up despite playing well as a team. What needs to be done to get out of this slump, and can the team take advantage of an injured western conference to make up as much ground as possible in their hunt for the postseason?

The gang also chats about some western conference coaches on the hot seat. Calgary's Bill Peters and Dallas' Jim Montgomery were in the news recently with some rather vocal critiques of their teams. Both squads are underachieving, but with a coaching change be the answer?

They also praise the New York Islanders' recent 10 game winning streak, their win by committee mentality and the incredible efforts of Barry Trotz.

Finally, the gang discusses the NHL Players Poll results, the Red Wings' point production and answer some great listener questions.
