The summer is over (almost) and the podcast is back! Just in time for the first games of the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

Dave, P Mac and Ryan gather again after an entire summer off to talk about the pre-tournament hype of the World Cup. They look at the initial games (North America vs. Europe and Team Canada vs. Team USA) and how quickly the excitement died down as quickly as the intense play died down.

They give their winning predictions, discuss whether Canada is no longer that interested in Team Canada after so many years of dominance following a less than impressive showing at international tournaments in the 1990's .

Geeta is on vacation in Prague in the Czech Republic right now, but she finds time, even with the time difference, to Skype into the show. Dave gives her some tips on hockey related places to see and she asks why Torts has benched Big Buff for the first game... could it be anthem related?!

Finally, the boys spend a fair bit of time talking about the Vancouver Canucks pre-season. From players currently in the World Cup as well as the Young Stars Tournament happening in Pentiction that will feature Thatcher Demko's first time playing in Canucks sweater. They give predictions on who will make the team, who's on the fence and predict who will be the pre-season MVP and win the prestigious Fedor Federov Memorial Trophy!?

Enjoy!
