A very special Monday Night edition of Pucks on net and our favourite NHL beat reporter P Mac on the Street sits in with Dave and Ryan to discuss a whole lot of happenings in the NHL these days.

Ryan talks about buying a random Pucks on net listener a beer at Roger's Arena during the Pittsburgh Penguins' visit to Vancouver last Tuesday and the gang dives into the Winnipeg Jets' problems and their new coach Paul Maurice.

We hear the latest on the ongoing saga of David Booth and his position with the Vancouver Canucks. Where will he end up? On the third line, Utica or in another hockey sweater?

We propose a bold idea that the Edmonton Oilers and Buffalo Sabres merge and become one team. It's happened before, it can happen again!

Later on we give out our picks for the NHL Awards at the mid-way point of the regular season.  What starts out as a legitimate discussion of the best players in the league quickly turns into the guys talking about how much they like the Tampa Bay Lightning.

A very fun episode this week and very hockey heavy!

Enjoy!
