Dhruvam Thaker on his Journey of Starting The Smart Taxi | Struggles and Stories | EP 22 - a podcast by Prafulla Kumar Jha

Mr. Dhruvam is a risk-taking and self-motivated individual who started his own business –a bootstrapped venture ‘The SMART Taxi,’ which aims to become India’s ranked 1 cab-service in terms of customer satisfaction. 

Along with a degree in Business Administration and skills which he learned during his education; his professional experiences also helped him establish his start-up.  ​ 

 Mr.Dhruvam quit his job and started doing market research to evaluate his idea, in which he drafted a survey questionnaire with 10 questions related to his concept cab and started asking corporate users through random interactions to rate his concept on a scale of 1-5. Within 1 week, he got 163 surveys done and got an average rating of 4.6/5 which was a harbinger for his dream venture.  ​ 

 He started with one cab, which he used to drive himself in the city of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in 2016 and in span of 4 years, Company has more than 700 cabs and service available across 30 cities in India & rapidly expanding.
