Flavia is a fully qualified vet graduating from the University of the state of Sao Paulo in Brazil in 1997. She practiced as a veterinarian in Brazil and in 2004 commenced her specialisation in acupuncture; gaining her IVAS accreditation in 2012 and has worked as a veterinary acupuncturist for over 15 years. In late 2014 she moved to Australia and has been practicing acupuncture and holistic animal treatment exclusively since then.


Flavia currently owns and runs Zenpet Animal Acupuncture, a mobile service based in Sydney, and works at Bondi Vet Hospital running the acupuncture service since 2019. She is a member of the International Veterinarian Acupuncture Society, the Australian Veterinary Association, the Australian Veterinary Acupuncture Group and Integrative Veterinarians Australia


In addition to Acupuncture, Flavia also uses Chinese and Western herbal medicine, natural diet advice, gold bead acupuncture and ozone therapy as part of her treatments.
