Welcome back to Bristol Cove! In ep 1x05, "Curse of the Starving Class",  The girls return from their home under the sea. They need help because something is making their food sources scarce. Ryn knows that she can trust her human friends, but Donna didn't have the best experience the last time she was on land. She is understandably cautious around Ben, Maddie, and Helen. The latter makes an interesting revelation when she finds herself alone with Donna. "I'm one of you."

Then there's Decker who finally makes his way into Bristol Cove. They really plan on filling up all of those tanks with mermaids.
