'The Magicians' recap: Brad and Cort Talk ep 2x13, "We Have Brought You Little Cakes" - a podcast by Pure Fandom

Now that is how you cap off a stellar season. The talent behind this amazing show managed to craft something truly special this season. We've seen musical episodes and ensemble shows undertaking major heists. The Magicians manages to execute everything they do with a unique flair all their own. We saw a lot of amazing growth for these characters and the set up for more to come now that magic has been lost to our Children of Earth. The Gods literally shut the power off. No wonder Myerkofski was busy trying to power up as many magical batteries as possible.

Candis Cayne also made her debut as Queen of the Fae. We may have lost the always entertaining Ember and Umber, but the fae will no doubt introduce just as much chaos for our Fillorian royals. Listen in as Brad and Cort hit on their favorite moments of the finale and speculate on what may come when the show returns next year for season three.
