Meet Stephanie Crook, organizer of MS Warrior 5K&10K Dash located in Portage,In
Stephanie shares how she found out her diagnosis.

"I went out for a regular maintenance run and my legs went numb, the doctor told me I would soon lose my ability to walk, I was still able to walk, although not well."


After thinking it was a random injury, she continued on about her day until things became gradually worse.


Stephanie felt defeated as she even contemplated suicide however, there was a light at the end of the tunnel. She finally saw a great doctor who provided her with the proper advice.

Stephanie credits her family, friends and boyfriend for standing beside her as she gains strength and knowledge on her "new normal."


Although the Dash is going on it's third year it's still a great turn out and all proceeds go back toward the organization which helps with wheelchairs, ramps and other items to aide and assist anyone who may have MS
