Shane McMahon returns to WWE on the road to WrestleMania - a podcast by PWF Empire Live

After a six year absence from WWE, Shane McMahon made a shocking return to Monday Night RAW and immediately kicked off a power struggle over the family business. The story is that some deal was cut years ago to preserve Shane’s place in the line of succession for control of the company, and Shane wanted to use that weapon in his arsenal right then and there for a hostile takeover of RAW, snatching the flagship brand away from Stephanie and Vince, the people he held responsible for running the company into the ground.
